I am a Tokyo-based photographer specializing in couple and family photography. I also have extensive experience capturing proposals - I’ve even managed to cover all three in a single session! Feel free to ask me how. Tokyo is a vast city. The best locations for a photoshoot aren’t always the obvious ones, and they can sometimes be quite far apart. Depending on where you are staying, I can recommend the ideal location to ensure your session goes perfectly. The process begins with an exchange of information, and I never impose anything on you. You simply be yourselves in front of the camera, while I bring my expertise and style to the shoot. Of course, if you aren’t used to being photographed, I’d be happy to offer a few tips. Japan is also a country that changes significantly with the seasons: the light shifts, and the cityscape transforms. The photoshoot needs to be adapted accordingly. I also aim to remain flexible in case the weather makes it impossible to have an enjoyable shoot on the scheduled day. Your trip won't last forever, your memories will! Damien took our maternity photos 8 years ago in Paris and we were so excited to find out we would be in the same city again. He was super patient with my son who had the zoomies during our shoot, and took the humidity and mosquitoes like a champ. He is very kind and makes it a relaxing experience. Damien is an amazing photographer! He photographed us when we were in Paris several years ago and then by luck, he moved to Japan when we were there visiting. We went in July with 2 young kids. Although it was incredibly warm during our shoot, he made the experience bearable. He was very patient and kind with us and helped us to find the best areas for our photos. He took us to several locations away from the crowds and helped us get all the various family photos we wanted. He is fantastic with kids and really captured our moments. Thank you so much Damien!
